First Steps

Since its founding in 2023, r é n’s mission has always been about growth, both as individuals and as a community. Over the past three years, our beneficiaries have matured into their new roles and our community and outreach have expanded across various industries and sectors. This growth has propelled r é n from a modest social enterprise to also a separate, fully registered charity.

Today, we are delighted to announce the establishment of our fully registered charity arm with the help of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer: the r é n Community Foundation!

The foundation will continue r é n’s commitment to helping Hong Kong’s disadvantaged youths secure meaningful employment, achieved through our growing network of partners and collaborators and supported by donations and funds for our Youth Employment Scholarship (YES) Programme. Whether through our social enterprise or registered charity, our mission remains steadfast. We are truly grateful for the ongoing support from donors and patrons like yourself, which makes our work possible.
